Designed with intention. Less noise. More flavour.
Meet at the point.
The dot is not an ending. It is where people meet.01
Something happens when the food arrives.
Conversation slows. Phones go face down. The evening finds its shape. We built aust. around that moment. Everything else is method.
Stay longer.
Good food. Good people. Good moments.
02
We believe the best moments are shared.
Around a table. Around good food. Around people who matter.
No rush. No noise. No excess.
Just good food, thoughtful design and time together. That is why aust. exists.
03
The bag arrives.
You see the point.
The box opens.
You read one line.
The smell reaches the room.
Someone takes a photograph.
Everyone sits down.
04
Stone-milled type 0 from a single mill, blended with wholegrain at a fixed ratio. One supplier. One blend.
Cold fermentation, no shortcuts. Time is the only ingredient that cannot be bought in a hurry.
Ninety seconds. Long enough to blister the edge, short enough to keep the centre soft.
Kraft, uncoated, printed once in black. It opens flat and becomes the table.

The craft
Quality is not a claim. It is a set of decisions repeated on a Tuesday.

Stone-milled type 0 from a single mill, blended with wholegrain at a fixed ratio. We do not change supplier for price. Changing flour means changing the pizza, and we would have to tell you.
A 48-hour cold rise. The dough is mixed two days before you eat it, which is why it sits lightly — and why we cannot make more of it on a busy Saturday.
San Marzano, fior di latte delivered each morning, olive oil from a single estate. A short list makes every item accountable.
Ninety seconds at high heat. Every pizza turned by hand, every edge blistered unevenly, which is the correct amount of even.
Kraft board, uncoated, vented so the base does not steam on the way to you. Printed once, in black. Inside, paper with the mark repeated, and a sticker to close it.
We deliver inside a radius we can reach before the pizza changes. That radius is the reason the list of neighbourhoods is short.
If it does not make the pizza better, it does not go in.
About
aust. began with a coast, not a recipe.
Australia is not in our ingredients. It is in the posture — the informality, the light, the assumption that something can be excellent without being formal. A place where good food arrives on a wooden table with the door open.
We brought that to Lisboa and made pizza with it, because pizza is the most honest food there is. It is shared by default. It arrives in the middle of the table and no one is served first.
We do not sell pizza. We build the table it lands on. We started with delivery because it is the harder problem. If it is right at a doorstep twenty minutes away, it will be right anywhere.
Everything starts with a point.
The place where people meetThe name
Short, lowercase, and it ends in a dot. The dot is not a full stop. It is a mark on a map — the place two people agree to meet. Everything we make carries it.
What comes next
A room. A counter, an oven you can see, a short wine list. When it is ready, it will be said here first and nowhere else.
Journal
Occasional. On produce, people, and the things we are reading in the kitchen.

A morning at the supplier, and why we pay more for a tin.

What cold fermentation actually does, without the folklore.

Eleven prototypes, one colour, and a dot that would not sit still.
Order
Wednesday to Sunday, 18:30 – 22:30. Last order at 22:00.
Ordering direct costs the same and reaches the kitchen without a middle step. It is also the only way we know it was you.
